Online Environmental Health Degree Programs
The environment plays a significant part in the health of individuals and communities. Tulane offers two online environmental health degrees that prepare professionals to assess, address, and monitor the environmental factors that impact health.
The new, innovative MS in Health Security from the Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University stands at the intersection of science, leadership, and crisis response—equipping students with the practical tools and critical insight to protect population health in times of uncertainty. Whether responding to a disease outbreak, planning for extreme weather-driven health disruptions, or coordinating across agencies during a national emergency, students will gain the interdisciplinary training needed to lead.
Tulane University’s online Master of Science in Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences (MS-OEIH) is an ABET-accredited program that prepares students to identify, analyze, and manage workplace health hazards. The curriculum integrates public health principles with analytical methods in chemistry and statistics, focusing on risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and exposure control.
