Student Ambassador: Bryce Moulton

Why did you choose to attend Tulane SPHTM?

Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine was a wonderful opportunity for me to take the next step as combined degree student, with their tropical medicine department housing many of the classes that relate directly to my interests in arboviruses and vector ecology.

Why are you interested in volunteering as an SPHTM Student Ambassador?

This program seems very similar in its goals and functions to Tower & Crescent, which was my favorite undergraduate organization to be an active part of.

What's your dream job?

What advice would you give someone thinking about getting a degree in public health?

That it is a wonderful choice with a broad set of opportunities, the hardest part is to look through and find which skillset excites you the most out of all the options.

Any hobbies, interests, etc. outside of public health?

I love attending the many festivals in the city, dancing zydeco at the music venues on Frenchman Street, and playing the dulcimer.

What is the best thing about being a student at SPHTM thus far?

Tulane provides such an array of opportunities I have already been able to engage in research, present at conferences with support, and have the Tropical Medicine Department give opportunities to diversify my lab experience with rotations.
