Location: at the foot of Canal Street by the Mississippi River
Grab a latte from Starbucks on the first level and make your way through Pottery Barn, Saks Fifth Avenue, Kenneth Cole, or the multitude of high-end specialty stores located on the center's three levels Before you leave, check what's playing at the popular, indie-friendly Canal Place movie theatre.

French Market
Location: Between Decatur and North Peters, stretching from the end of Cafe DuMonde toward Esplanade. Everything in New Orleans has a unique feel and this farmer's market/craft fair is no different. Stretching five blocks of the Vieux Carre, the French Market offers fresh produce, souvenirs and specialty crafts.

Jackson Brewery
Location: On Decatur Street in the French Quarter at Jackson Square.
This five story shopping center was once brewing headquarters for New Orleans' own JAX beer. Now, filled with a variety of unique merchants and an extension of the famous French Quarter establishment, Pat O'Brien's, Jackson Brewery is a favorite among visitors and locals alike.

Magazine Street
Location: Between Tchoupitoulas and Prytania, running through the Garden District and Uptown areas.
This 6 mile shopping strip stretches from the edge of the French Quarter to Uptown's Audubon Park. Along the way, you will find a host of unique shopping destinations for antiques, furniture, clothing and specialty items.

Location: 1400 Poydras Street with a parking garage located behind the Macy's entrance on Girod.
New Orleans Centre adjoins the Superdome and Poydras Plaza in the city's Central Business District. The Centre is anchored by Macy's and Lord & Taylor's, with over 50 clothing and specialty stores and a food court inside. 504.568.0000

Riverwalk Marketplace
Location: On the edge of the Warehouse District between the Mississippi River and Convention Center Blvd.
Nestled along the bank of the Mississippi, the Riverwalk Marketplace is home to over 150 shops and 15 restaurants and cafes. Both the food court balcony and the Spanish Plaza overlook the Mississippi River and provide a breathtaking view of passing steamboats and oceanliners.

Location: In the French Quarter between Chartres and Bourbon Streets.
No excursion to the French Quarter is complete without a stroll down Rue Royal.
