Night and Weekend Parking for Students

Night and weekend parking contracts are now available for students as a free service provided by the dean.

• You will be allowed to use the Tidewater Garage only if you have evening classes (proof of schedule) or if you are a doctoral student registered for dissertation research, which constitutes full-time status.
• Free parking hours are from 4:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Students will not have access before 4:30 p.m. on weekdays (e.g. if you attempt to park at 4:29,  the card will not allow entry).

All students using this service must adhere to the following rules:

• You must purchase a Tidewater Garage Parking Card from Parking Services on the 8th Floor of the Tidewater Building. The card is $20. The cost of the card will be returned to you when/if you return the card in good conditioned.
  
• All vehicles must be properly registered and display appropriate ID Tag (sticker) affixed to vehicle windshield.
  
• Reserved spaces are reserved at all times (7 days, 24 hours). Tickets will be issued through the mail, after the fact, if reserved space contract holder reports an offense to Parking Services.
  
• Your parking permit does not authorize you to park on the Tulane University uptown campus or any other TU facility.
  
• Access cards cannot be transferred to others under any circumstances. Replacement cards (lost, stolen, damaged) are $20. A refund of card deposit will be granted upon proper cancellation of contract and return of card in good condition. If refunds are to be processed through the mail, checks will be sent to US addresses only unless a self-addressed, stamped envelope is provided.
