| Career Services Center Library Resources The Career Services Library is located in room 2461 of the Tidewater Building in the Admissions Office for SPHTM. The library maintains a collection of print materials on career planning tools and on specific public health career fields, employers, and jobs. Print resources are available on the following topics: - Academic Resources - Internships - Workshops/Conferences - Career Information - Employment Directories - International Work - Job Search Skills - Current Listings - Employer Information - Fellowships - Job Periodicals The library has been newly revised and updated and we are happy to present new acquisitions to its holdings. The Career Services Library also has a new “Spotlight on Local Employers” section with handouts available from organizations. This section highlights 11 public health employers that have job/internship opportunities in Louisiana.

For a complete list of print resources available in the Career Services Library, please visit: www.sph.tulane.edu/main/career-center/careerlib.htm Alumni Profile: Smruti Shah Smruti Shah, MPH graduated from the department of International Health and Development in 1997 and went on to do international stints working with NGOs focused on women and children in India and El Salvador. Her most recent work experience has primarily involved evaluating local, regional, and statewide health programs and initiatives in California. Smruti has taken advantage of a variety of opportunities since her graduation, which has led her down an interesting career path. Employers she has worked with include Harder + Company, Youth Leadership Institute, and ETR Associates. Smruti currently holds the position of Community Benefit Analyst at both St. Joseph Health System-Sonoma County and at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. She focuses on facilitating program planning, implementation, and evaluation in the Community Benefit Department. Smruti and her associates have internships and positions available and would love to hire Tulane graduates or students with experience or interest in Healthy Communities, Community Health, and Advocacy.
