MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMS

Master of Health Administration (MHA) - For recent graduates and health care professionals seeking to advance their careers in health services management in the US and abroad.

Master of Medical Management (MMM) - For physicians with three or more years of experience who are interested in management careers in public health agencies and not-for-profit organizations.

Master of Public Health (MPH) - For recent graduates and public health professionals interested in public health and not-for-profit management careers and students who plan to assume management and leadership roles in the global health organizations. 


DOCTORAL DEGREE PROGRAMS

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) - For recent graduates with a bachelor's or master's degree  seeking academic and research careers in health systems management, health services research , and policy development.

Doctor of Science (ScD) - For mid-career health professionals who wish to advance their careers by completing an applied research oriented doctoral degree (Executive Format).


 

JOINT DEGREE PROGRAMS

4+1 Joint Master of Public Health - For students enrolled in the Tulane Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) degree program. 

Juris Doctor/Master of Health Administration - For students enrolled in the Tulane School of Law who seek health law careers.

Master of Business Administration/Master of Health Administration - For students accepted into the Tulane School of Business seeking careers in the health care industry that require strong business and finance skills in addition to specific, in depth knowledge of health systems management.

Medical Doctor/Master of Public Health - For students accepted into the Tulane School of Medicine who are interested in developing health care management and leadership skills to augment their public health knowledge.


ADDITIONAL PROGRAM OFFERINGS

China Public Health Summer Program Abroad - For advanced undergraduates and graduate students interested in earning 5 graduate credit hours toward a master’s degree.  NO CHINESE LANGUAGE PREREQUISITE.

Masters International Program - The department welcomes students to join us as Masters Internationalists. These students complete their MPH course work on campus, but they also gain vital public health experience through two years of service with the Peace Corps. The Peace Corps experience offers a number of personal and professional benefits to public health students, and it also fulfills the practicum requirement of the school.
