Some online travel resources are: Travelers Health For students covered by the Tulane Student Health Insurance Plan, they are covered world wide. For students not covered by this plan, they should check with their current insurance providers to find out if their health insurance covers them internationally or not. If their medical insurance does not then they will have to purchase health insurance that provides international coverage in order to attend the program. Student’s are also advised to check that they are updated on their immunizations and they obtain all the necessary immunizations necessary for safe traveling into China. Student’s should begin preparing for immunizations at least three months in advance of expected travel date. For Tulane students, they can make an appointment at the Tulane Travel Clinic to discuss their itinerary and vaccine needs with a physician.
