Overseas Courses

Peru
The "Health and Development Issues in Peru" is offered by annually Dr. Valerie Paz Soldan via the Department of International Health and Development and the Health Office for Latin America.  The course takes place in Lima and Iquitos and consists of a combination of lectures (speakers from non-governmental organizations, community based organizations, researchers), facilitated discussions, and field trips.

Costa Rica
The Department of Health Systems Management offers a master's degree in medical management through the Central American Institute for Business Administration (INCAE) for medical and clinical professionals in Latin America.

Jamaica
A course on nutrition and health programs in developing countries is offered annually by Dr. John Mason of the Department of International Health and Development, in cooperation with colleagues from the Caribbean Food and Nutrition Institute in Jamaica.
