Description
This base grant for the national primate research center provides support for conduct of health related primate research at a 500-acre campus with approximately 7,000 monkeys. Areas of major focus include tropical infectious diseases, emerging diseases (including immunodeficiency viral diseases and tuberculosis), and gene therapy.
