The 2008 ASPH Student Leadership Workshop was held on Sunday, October 26th in San Diego. Michael Lamb represented Tulane Undergraduate Public Health Studies and Byron Hughes (MPH student) represented the graduate school. Michael was the only undergraduate in the nation to attend this terrific workshop! 2009 Fall Calendar September 3rd - Thursday - 7pm - Jones 204 - Public Health Society Meeting - The meeting will feature a student panel of upperclassmen undergraduates and former BSPH students who have matriculated to the 4+1 Program. The student panel is designed to answer any questions that you may have. The meeting will also include the opportunity to register to be a volunteer at the NO/AIDS walk which will take place on September 20th in Audubon Park. September 8th - Tuesday - 7:30-8:30 pm - Public Health USG (Undergraduate Student Government) Meeting - The Public Health USG meets every Tuesday night in the LBC. September 27th - Study Abroad Application Deadline - If you want to go abroad in the spring, make sure you get your application in by this day! October 13th - Tuesday - 9:30 - 10:30 am - Dean's Hour - Location TBA - Come learn about the 4+1 program and about possible internships and careers in Public Health! Our career expert, Kathy Ball, will be presenting on how to find opportunities with a Public Health degree! A light breakfast will be served.
