Undergraduate Public Health In The News Congratulations Class of 2009!
This spring, the Undergraduate Public Health Studies program graduated 29 students! This was the first full class since our program started, and many of them returned from Hurricane Katrina to finish our degree. Many graduated with honors, or with dual degrees. Six of them wrote an Honors Thesis. About 1/3 of them will go on to medical school, 1/3 will stay at Tulane for our 4+1 program, and about 1/3 will go on for service programs such as Teach for America and Peace Corps.
