Dean Johnson leads the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine's Office of Admissions, Student Affairs, and Career Services. In addition, Dr. Johnson also serves as the Director of Undergraduate Public Health Studies at Tulane. Dean Johnson has worked in higher education for over 16 years. He currently serves as President of the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals and Chair of the Association of Schools of Public Health Student Services Council.

A native of Austin, TX and alumna of Northern Arizona University, Chris holds an MA in Political Science, and previously worked with Tulane's Center for Public Service. 

Chris has taught civic engagement seminars for students doing internships, as well as a first-year TIDES course called "Citizenship and Health Communities".  He keeps up connections around New Orleans that he turns to for bringing local public health professionals to student events. 

Having spent a year in Bulgaria as an undergrad, Chris enjoys helping students with study abroad and grad school plans.

Kendra Klebba graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a major in Literature. She has served as a project coordinator for NIMH and CDC funded grants that studied HIV infections in women and their uninfected children, HIV infections in young intravenous drug users, and families with young children with asthma. She received a MPH from Tulane University in 1998 in Health Communication and a MA from the University at Buffalo in Clinical Psychology.  Kendra has been an academic advisor at Newcomb-Tulane College since 2008.  She specializes in advising public health undergrads.

Kathy Ball provides support for students’ career needs in both the undergraduate and graduate programs for public health.  Originally from New Orleans, Kathy received her undergraduate degree from Duke University in North Carolina and her Master of Science in Counseling from Loyola University.  In addition to career counseling, conducting workshops and working with employers who recruit SPHTM students, Kathy serves as the staff liaison for the Student Government Association as well as Coordinator of Orientation for new students.  She enjoys the reward of helping the diverse students in public health and being a part of the renewal and rebuilding of the city of New Orleans.

Caitrin, a native of the Marshall Islands, is currently working toward an MPH in Maternal and Child Health at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine via the UPHS 4+1 program. In 2008, she completed her undergraduate studies at Tulane University, graduating in the inaugural cadre Bachelor of Science in Public Health students. She has been the UPHS program since fall 2008 and loves working with her former colleagues in the undergraduate program.

Cecelia graduated from Tulane in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a focus on Environmental Health.  She is currrently continuing her studies in pursuit of a Master of Health Administration degree through the BSPH - 4+1 program.  Originally from Dunmore, Pennsylvania, Cecelia is glad she remained in New Orleans for her graduate studies and loves working for the UPHS program.

Kelley completed her Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Tulane University in December 2009.  She is currently pursuing an MPH in Community Health Management through the UPHS joint degree program. Kelley is from Queens, New York and is happy to have traded the Big Apple for the Big Easy. She is glad to continue to be involved with the undergraduate Public Health program.
