Getting AroundYou'll need to find routes to school, whether you're
on foot, bike, or wheels. Any way you plan to travel
in New Orleans and around the Tulane community,
you'll need to know how to get around.

Being Active
As a public health student, exercise is probably 
an important part of your daily routine. Be active
during your graduate study. The university has an
athletic center -- and some of the parks in the city
provide a great space for bike riding and jogging.
Getting InvolvedThe public health field tends to attract community-
minded individuals. With this in mind, we've created
a list of ways you can get involved in your new
Tulane and New Orleans communities.
Preparing for Orientation
In advance of the start of semester, have a look
at the orientation schedule. You also might
find it helpful to view the academic calendar 
or a schedule of classes.
Scheduling a VisitIf you want to schedule an appointment with an
academic advisor or coordinate a campus visit 
before the semester starts, find the contact
information for your department coordinator. Plus,
you'll find more info about accommodations
and transportation.
