Living downtown as a School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine student most often means living in Deming Pavilion, which is owned and operated by Tulane University. Some students choose to rent apartments in the Central Business District (the CBD).
There are a couple lunch spots in the neighborhood, but students who live at Deming will need to travel by car or public transportation to grocery stores or more restaurant options. Students are within walking distance of the CBD and the French Quarter, and many enjoy this proximity. |
