Recently accepted into Tulane School of Public Health?

Incoming students have many questions about what to do while they wait for classes to start. Should you register? Look into financial aid? Find a rooommate? Here is a list of mandatory and recommended items "to-do" while you await new student orientation.

Are you coming? We hope so! Please send us your confirmation card to let us know your plans.	Attend our annual Open House, March 13th and 14th to see the school for yourself and hear from current students and faculty on why they chose Tulane. Register now!
Find a place to hang your hat. Deming? French Quarter? Uptown? Check out our housing options, and if necessary, send in your deposit and contract.	Come visit us! Interested in meeting with our students and faculty or want to sit in on a class? Send us an email and we will help you plan a great trip.
If you plan on taking out financial aid, get started on the process early! Monitor the Office of Financial Aid website and follow the instructions posted.	Check out our fabulous New Student Resource center for insider tips on life in the Big Easy.
Complete the immunization form included in your acceptance packet. Bring this to orientation.	View our course offerings and make a sample dream schedule of all the classes you'd like to take.
Order one additional set of transcripts from your registrar's office, showing proof of degree. Bring this to orientation.	Contact your academic advisor and introduce yourself. His/her name can be found in the opening paragraph of your acceptance letter.
Put on your favorite outfit and go get a passport-sized photo made. Bring this to orientation.
Determine if you will be taking out Tulane Health Insurance. You may read about it here. Otherwise, bring proof of your own insurance to orientation.

Good News For You.........
Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine does not require a deposit, nor do we require you to respond with your decision by a specific date. Nevertheless, your quickest response of acceptance is greatly appreciated as it will help us to better prepare for your arrival. You do not need to register for classes until you arrive for orientation, where you will do so with your academic advisor.
