Dr. Nancy Fronczak is the US-based Project Coordinator for the Cote d’Ivoire Project. The Cote d’Ivoire based Chief of Party is a JHPIEGO staff member.  The project will be working with training institutions in Cote d’Ivoire on: 1) developing and integrating HIV/AIDS modules into health curricula, 2) developing a cadre of national trainers, and 3) improving and increasing the use of the national training database.  In addition to overall Project coordination and monitoring and evaluation (M&E), SSDS will be funding and developing the capacity of seven local grantees working on various aspects of HIV/AIDS programs, from advocacy through media groups to direct service delivery.  SSDS and JHPIEGO will have roughly a dozen staff based in Abidjan, all African (and most from Cote d’Ivoire), in addition to short-term consultants coming and going.
