International Summer Field Courses


GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements must be met four weeks before the expected date of graduation.  Send all materials to the IHD office (pjessop@tulane.edu).  Failure to complete these requirements means that your graduation will be delayed and you will have to apply for graduation again the following semester.

  1. Apply for graduation at the very beginning of the semester in which you hope to graduate (January for May graduation, June for August graduation, and September for December graduation).  Those forms can be obtained in the office of admissions on the 24th floor of the Tidewater building, 1440 Canal Street.  If you are not in New Orleans you can send a self addressed stamped envelope to Susan Mills, 1440 Canal Street, Suite 2460, New Orleans, LA  70112 and she will mail you the forms.  If you are out of the country, please contact Roseanna Rabalais by email (rrabala@tulane.edu) and she will assist you.
  2. Complete all SPHTM core courses.  If you waived any courses be sure that a copy of the waiver is on file in the IHD offices.
  3. Complete the IHD core courses: INHL 604 and INHL 605.  If you waived any courses be sure that a copy of the waiver is on file in the IHD offices.
  4. Verify that the total credit hours on your Tulane on line transcript is correct and that you have sufficient credits to graduate.  Your GPA must be above 3.0.
  5. Complete your language certification.  (click the link above for the required form)
  6. Complete all your practicum forms. (click the link above for those forms)
  7. Complete the Graduation Tracking Form. (click here)
  8. Complete the Competencies Form. (click here)
  9. Order your cap and gown and hood from the Bookstore and have fun at graduation.
  10. DOCTORAL STUDENTS: A copy of your dissertation must be on file in the department.
