Personal Statement:
Dr. VanLandingham is currently investigating the social antecedents and consequences of the AIDS epidemic in Thailand; rural-to-urban migration in Southeast Asia; the health of Vietnamese immigrants; and the social and health consequences of Hurricane Katrina for New Orleanians. VanLandingham has received major funding for his work from the National Institutes of Health, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Mellon Foundation, and Family Health International.
