Requirements for MSPH with specialty coursework in Toxicology and Risk Assessment

At the completion of the MSPH with specialty course work in Toxicology and Risk Assessment, the student will be able to:

  • Apply fundamental toxicological principles to elucidate mechanisms of actions in humans exposed to hazardous substances;
  • Conduct a quantitative human health risk assessment
  • Develop chemical-specific standards to inform policy at local, state and national levels;
  • Apply risk communication skills to inform communities of potential health risks from exposure to hazardous substances
