Masters Programs
Prospective students must meet all of the school’s application requirements. Additional department requirements may apply.

BS/MSPH Combined Degrees Admission Requirements
Students must meet the requirements for admission to the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and are expected to have an educational background or experience in the life sciences, physical sciences, or engineering.

Students who are registered in baccalaureate programs at Tulane University, Xavier University, and Southeastern University apply for admission to the joint BS/MSPH program during their third year of undergraduate studies. Credits taken in the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine during their senior year may be used as electives for the baccalaureate degree.

Doctoral Program
Students applying to the Doctoral program must meet all requirements for admission to the school’s doctoral program. In addition, DrPH applicants must have completed the requirements for the MPH, or equivalent. Students applying to the PhD Program may concurrently earn their master’s degree.
