Visiting the Department of Community Health Sciences

Are you ready to schedule a visit to Community Health Sciences?

As you conduct research into public health graduate programs, we will be happy to arrange a visit to the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and the Community Health Sciences Department.  To schedule a visit, contact the CHS main desk at chs@tulane.edu or 504-988-5391.

Typically, a campus visit for a prospective student includes:

+  tour of the Tulane Health Sciences Center's downtown campus,

+  a meeting with a faculty member in your track of interest,

+  a meeting with a program staff with one of two federally-funded research projects managed by CHS faculty,

+  a meeting with current MPH students in Community Health Sciences, and

+  a meeting with the Program Manager for Student Services.

Requests for campus visits should be made at least two weeks prior to your preferred visitation date.  Due to faculty scheduling constraints, visits are limited to Mondays and Fridays.  If a request is made in less than two weeks or on a different week day,  we cannot guarantee the full  visitation experience.  Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate visitors on official School holidays.
