Congratulations to Ruth Alison Hart (Masters student in the MCH program),  Christopher Beaudoin(faculty), and Traci Hong(faculty) who were nominated for Delta Omega Induction! The Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health, Eta Chapter, announced nominees for induction and recognized them last Friday, November 16 in the Tidewater Auditorium.

The Tulane Partnership for an Active Environment (PACE),  one of the projects based in the Community Health Sciences Prevention Research Project (PRC), celebrates the creation of a $450,000 walking path in the historic neighborhood of St. Roch neighborhood.

This November, Erin Baker, Prevention Research Center Assistant Director, was selected by the Gambit as one of the 40 influential people under 40 in the city of New Orleans. Congratulations Erin!

James Lukens, Community Health Sciences MPH student and student assistant, was selected to recieve the Scott Cowen Graduate Fellowship. The program matches students across graduate disciplines at Tulane with educational non-profit agencies and K-12 schools public schools to improve educational opportunities in New Orleans. Congratulations James!
