The Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health, Eta Chapter, announced nominees for induction and recognized them last Friday, November 16 in the Tidewater Auditorium. The Tulane Partnership for an Active Environment (PACE), one of the projects based in the Community Health Sciences Prevention Research Project (PRC), celebrates the creation of a $450,000 walking path in the historic neighborhood of St. Roch neighborhood.

James Lukens, Community Health Sciences MPH student and student assistant, was selected to recieve the Scott Cowen Graduate Fellowship. The program matches students across graduate disciplines at Tulane with educational non-profit agencies and K-12 schools public schools to improve educational opportunities in New Orleans.
