Applications are accepted during Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Priority Deadlines: March 15 – for summer applicants April 15 – for fall applicants October 15 – for spring applicants

What GRE scores are required for admission? The Department of Community Health Sciences recommends a combined GRE score of at least 1000. Experience and prior coursework will be considered.
What undergraduate GPA is required for admission? An undergraduate GPA of at least a 3.0 from an accredited institution with strong undergraduate record is strongly recommended for admission.
What TOEFL scores are required for admission? For those students applying to the program where English is not a required language, TOEFL exam scores must be submitted. The minimum expected scores are: Taken by Paper: 570-573 Taken by Internet: 88/89 Taken by Computer: 230 What undergraduate coursework is required for admission? We accept students from all undergraduate majors.
What semester do most students start taking classes? Most students start taking classes in the Fall semester.
How long does the MPH program take to complete? On average, most students complete the program in 4 semesters during two academic years.
I would like to work internationally. Is your Department still for me? In addition to having several international faculty members, our faculty conducts research and teached courses abroad. Our students come from around the globe. Just as you will encounter public health agencies anywhere you find people, communities are not limited by borders. The principles of community based program planning, research, and advocacy are the same for a neighborhood in New Orleans as for a village in Cameroon. Where are MPH graduates employed?
