| Warm congratulations to our Spring ‘07 graduates! | | | | | The students were graduated amidst much pomp and circumstance with 2 ceremonies and various other festivities. The morning unified ceremony in the New Orleans Arena included all Tulane graduates and featured Anchorman Bryan Williams as the speaker. In the afternoon the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine had its own ceremony where the actual diplomas were presented, featuring a second line brass band, and the Ambassador to Honduras as the speaker. The Distance Learning Faculty and Staff, as well as Deans Buekens and Johnson, and ENHS Department Chair Maureen Lichtveld hosted the distance students to a reception the night before. Although there were 16 spring graduates, 7 joined in the New Orleans celebration, along with several fall graduates. The graduates for Spring ’07 were as follows: MSPH in Industrial Hygiene: Tim Hicks, Michael Murdzia, Chris Speelman, Jon Spezialetti, Margaret Tremblay and John (Tony) Watson. MPH in Occupational Health and Safety Management: Kimberly Conley, Nelson Pharreaux, John Skulavik, Nate Snyder, Chad Stevens and Roger Thompson. MPH in Occupational and Environmental Health: Joanne Conley, Ovidiu Cotea MD, Dilini DeSilva-Chen MD, Jane Hartline MD.
