Over the summer Technology Services implemented an upgrade of the Blackboard course management system (CMS). This improved CMS will be easier to use and will have new features that will be useful to faculty and students alike. According to Paul Barron, Tulane's Vice President for Technology Services and CIO, "Because we believe that this iteration of Blackboard will become ubiquitous, we have given it a new front page and named it ³myTulane.² Students, faculty, and staff who log in to myTulane will see information that has been specifically directed to them."

CAEPH is anticipating some questions, but is always looking for feedback on changes to our distance learning software systems and methods. If you have any problems, questions, or praise please send an e-mail to DLTech@tulane.edu. | |
