Prospective students with an undergraduate degree have the option of taking courses without matriculating toward a degree. With a simpler application process a student can apply to take up to 15 credit hours. This may be an option for students who want to transfer one or two courses into another degree program or for those who cannot meet the application deadline for a particular degree program in time to matriculate. Others who want to test their performance in or affinity to a distance learning environment before committing to a degree program might prefer this option. All coursework taken for a grade is graduate-level and fully accredited. Successfully completed courses may be applied later to a degree program after a full application is submitted and if the student is accepted into the program. Taking courses as a non-degree seeking student does not guarantee admission into a degree program.
