ARMAND ST. MARTIN | Curator of Music

Armand St. Martin serves on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Historical Society and is a tenth-generation New Orleanian. A recipient of a 2008 proclamation from the New Orleans City Council for his ongoing musical contributions in promoting New Orleans, he has been a composer, songwriter, and piano player, as well as a recording artist and band member, for over 40 years. St. Martin was educated at Tulane and Loyola universities in music theory, composition, and math; at UCLA for the master class in film scoring; and at Wolftrap Academy for composition for modern dance. He has performed at numerous music venues ranging from soup kitchens to the Superdome. St. Martin is a regular entertainer at the Ritz-Carlton, and he recently performed his Katrina Anthem Orleans Lullaby live for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Make It Right Foundation’s Pink Project. His music score is also featured in Chris Madden's documentary, Project Katrina. St. Martin co-created Musicians for Other Musicians in Hollywood, Access In Radio, and the annually held multi-faceted commemorative event in New Orleans at the Landmark Canal Place Cinema Theatre, titled “Katrina Artistically Revisited.” For more information, contact armand@pattyleerecords.com.
