Patty Lee is a member of the Louisiana Historical Society and strongly believes in preserving museum-quality archives. With a liberal arts degree in journalism and radio TV, she earned her FCC license for broadcasting, being among the first licensed on-air-AM-radio female DJs. Lee worked in the music department at the largest entertainment agency in the world in Beverly Hills, California, and she has been in the entertainment business for more than 40 years. She has interviewed music superstars and has promoted and produced hundreds of live music concerts and special events. Lee comes from a long line of professional music family members. She also scripted the Showtime special Madame in Manhattan and Madame Goes To Harlem, a musical revue at the Sahara Hotel’s Main Room in Las Vegas. She co-created the first national television public service announcement about curbing cemetery artifact theft, featuring Anne Rice as spokesperson, and founded the commemorative multimedia event held annually at the Landmark Canal Place Cinema Theatre, titled “Katrina Artistically Revisited.”
