ANNE-LIESE JUGE FOX | Theatre, Performing Arts, and Dance

Anne-Liese Juge Fox, artistic director for NOLA Playback Theatre, has certification in health education and a master of education degree in health promotion and health education. With over two decades of professional theatre experience, Fox is a Board of Regents fellow at LSU where she is pursuing a PhD in theatre and performance studies.

NOLA Playback Theatre is part of an international network of Playback improvisational theatre where audience experiences, issues, and personal stories are spontaneously transformed into collaborative performance.  Founded in 2006 with the support of  Ashé Cultural Arts Center and the Playback Centre, NPT is dedicated to the revitalization of our area. The NPT youth outreach programs are generously supported by Save the Children and the Arts Council of New Orleans.  NPT is also a partner in the community-wide project for undoing racism, Truth Be Told, where the Red Tent design of combining story circle process with Playback Theatre emerged. The ensemble of NOLA Playback Theatre boasts of some of the finest performers in New Orleans, including Troi Bechet, Kerry Cahill, Caitlin Corrigan, Bridget Erin, Enchanté Franklin, Nick Lopez, Roscoe Reddix, Karel Sloane, Chris Williams, and musician Lloyd Daly.
